80 Series Landcruiser Steering Column Gauge Pods

The Trail Teq 80 Series Landcruiser Steering Column Gauge Pods are custom designed to match the curve and contour of the plastic shroud.

They also locate the gauges in a legal position, meaning no more defects from having gauges mounted on the A-Pillar.

The 52 mm Round Gauge Holders have an open rear design, meaning that there is no chance of fouling on illumination sockets, sensors, or wiring.

The Mainline Sensor EGT Gauge Holder is a straight fit, with an opening at the rear designed around the shape of the gauge wiring harness.

The Engine Guard Gauge Holder has a face slightly larger than the gauge, with a cross hatched finish to ensure maximum adhesion. New double sided tape is supplied incase your existing tape is perished. 

These holders are supplied with 3M Double Sided tape applied to the curved profile for removable installation. Permanent installation by adhesives are also possible if the customer chooses.

Wiring is easily routable in the cavity between the steering column shroud and the dash fascia. When combined with 3M Tape, this makes for an installation that does not damage or alter the original shroud in any way.

Our gauge holders are available in raw textured satin black, or painted with elastomeric trim paint, which is a special flexible paint suitable for use on plastic interior pieces. Colour matched versions have a finer more subtle texture. 

We have colour matched off of brand new OEM trim pieces. Although we have got our colour matches as close as possible, please be aware that your interior may be faded/darkened from years of use and thus the colour match may not be 100% identical. 

Bluish Gray (03 Trim) is the gray interior found on all 80 Series Models.

Sable (06 Trim) is the dark brown interior found on the early 80 Series up to 1995, with the curved dash.  

Oak (E0 Trim) is the medium brown interior found on the late 80 Series from 1995-onwards, with the square dash. It is lighter than Sable.
