90 Series Prado Plug-and-Play Keyless Remote Entry

This kit is a plug-and-play replacement for the original keyless entry modules found on the 90 Series Prado, which are prone to failures in old age.

This kit is also suitable to add to 90 Series Prado with factory central locking, even if you never had a keyless entry module fitted from the factory. Check the compatibility chart in the photos to see which type of kit suits your car. 

By using OEM connectors, our kit is super quick to install and offers a hassle free installation with absolutely no cutting, splicing or tampering with any of the original wiring harness. 

There is the choice of regular remotes, or modern style flip key remotes. Read the flip key information tab below for compatibility information of the flip key remotes .

This kit comes in three versions. 

Australian Market Version (all production years): This kit is only suitable for Australian market models as these models have factory fitted patch looms in the body wiring by Toyota Australia. 

Global Market Version (Up to 06/1999): This kit is suitable for 90 Series Prados upto June 1999 production which were originally delivered in other markets, e.g. Japan (JDM Imports) / Europe / United Kingdom / etc. If you are unsure if your Prado is in this category, reference the fuse panel pictures in the product photos. 

Global Market Version (06/1999 Onwards): This kit is suitable for 90 Series Prados made on or after 06/1999 which were originally delivered in other markets, e.g. Japan (JDM Imports) / Europe / United Kingdom / etc. If you are unsure if your Prado is in this category, reference the fuse panel pictures in the product photos.

With both versions of the Global market kit, we supply the additional patch loom connections necessary to make the kit fully Plug-and-Play, including the indicator flasher patch loom!

Flip key remotes are most suitable for 90/95 Series without transponder keys. See the photos for a visual description, or send us a photo of your key if you are unsure. 

If you have a transponder key version, you will need to use regular remotes, as our flip keys do not have the transponder chips in them that are required to start the car.

Alternatively, if you have a transponder system in your car and still want the flip key setup, you can remove the chip out of your original key and glue it to the inside of your key barrel, so that the car is tricked into thinking you are using the original key. This is done at the owner's own risk.
