Rav4 1st Gen Plug-and-Play Keyless Remote Entry

This plug-and-play keyless entry kit adds modern keyless remote entry to your 1st Gen Toyota Rav4 that came with factory central locking. There are two versions of this kit - Early and Late Model.

The Early Model kit is suitable for all models up to August 1997 Production. These models will have a separate door control relay (see the pictures). 

The Late Model Kits for facelift cars made after August 1997  will be available in Late 2026 - we are just waiting for final prototype testing to finish. 

By using OEM connectors, our kit is super quick to install and offers a hassle free installation with absolutely no cutting, splicing or tampering with any of the original wiring harness. 

There is the choice of regular remotes, or modern style flip key remotes. Read the flip key information tab below for compatibility information of the flip key remotes .

This kit comes in two versions depending on your year model.

- Early Models (Up to End of August 1997). 
- Late Models (September 1997 Onwards)

Flip Key's are supplied with blank blades that can be duplicated to your original key. 

If your original key is a transponder key (meaning your car has a transponder security system), you will need to transfer the transponder chip from your original key into the flip key housing in order to use the flip key to start the car.

These kits are made to order and there is usually a small que of orders. Please allow approximately 5 days production time prior to postage.
